Where oh where to place the microwave….such a handy little guy, allowing dinner to be ready in five minutes flat….definitely deserving of a good spot in the kitchen. A spot that is functional, easy to access, and not necessarily a focal point. So where should it go?!? Here are a few places we have put them…where would you place yours?!

In tall cabinets
Under the countertop

On a shelf
So true…the microwave is so necessary but not so pretty. As a designer I like it to be in a low position so we don’t see it…but as a mom/chef i like it at medium height for ease of use. In designing your space, I recommend that you consider which is most important to you….form or function and tell your kitchen designer your thoughts.
